I have a 24 Tremor, so no 4K tow package. I do have a bike rack that has lights so I can plug in to the 4pin connector. However, doing so disables BLIS. In the settings, I don’t have the trailer info section to reenable BLIS. Do Mav’s w/ 4k towing package have the section in the Driver Assist menu to enter trailer info? And by doing so, reenable BLIS?

Unsure what you're referring to about entering trailer info. My 2022 4k tow Mav has only one trailer page in the center cluster, and it just shows that the brake lights and running lights are working. I don't think there's anyway to turn BLIS on with a trailer connected, other than possibly adjusting some settings using Forscan.

The trailer size input appears to be an addition for 2025. 2022-2024 disables BLIS when something is attached to the trailer connector as yours does because there is no way to know how much larger the blind spot is with the trailer.

Only on 2025's.

Does this mean I can use the 4 pin to power a hitch, light or LED strip with out losing BLIS FUNCTION ? What’s the shortest trailer you can input?

The radar emitters for the BLIS system are in the rear quarters of the truck, and they sense anything in the back corner areas of the vehicle and then activate the mirror LEDs until it disappears. Since the item in the hitch doesn't disappear the LEDs would always be on. That's why it goes inactive when towing.

If you get one of the kits that provides a 4-Pin trailer harness by wiring into the taillights, plugging your rack into that auxiliary connector will not set the truck into Tow mode, and deactivate BLIS. - Those kits come with connectors that go between the vehicle harness & taillights, so no cutting or crimping of the factory harness is required. They usually need a 12v feed, and that can easily be obtained using the pigtail for the power wiring on either side of the tailgate.

I had the same issue trying to connect the light harness I added to our bike-rack, since the eBike tires partially block the taillights. Just be aware that if the rack or bikes happen to fall within the sensor range of the BLIS, it may detect them, rendering the system useless anyway.
