Seriously, the manual should show what the "idiot lights" on the dash OR just turn the key ON
all of the lights will show themselves.. Then you can find that green one..

"I have" the "Alien color" but no one has shown up Yet.... :alien: :cautious:

I have owners manual in hand. It's showing the multiple warning lights that could appear on the instrument cluster, but do you think the book could show WHERE on the cluster these icons might appear? NO. And the icons are also not in color, which isn't helpful. All I can say is that aside from the strobing D, I saw whatever green icon for a nanosecond.

Oh, and for your Alien Maverick, you need this sticker:

Or not...
That actually is one of the famous lines that HAL 9000 would say when one of the astronauts would question things going bad aboard the ship. " All circuits are functioning properly................................... "

I just went out side and checked the MAV's manual...

Ford Maverick Blinky Blink Manual

Sorry wrong manual... 🤣 :p

Seriously, I did check the manual, they don't state the "Color" of each item, sooo..

Ford Maverick Blinky Blink Blus Insturment Dash

I went with a graphic...

The only Green item, is the Auto-Light indicator. located at the bottom of the Techometer (the one on the left, for you Non-Gearheads)..

The only thing that might possibly be what I saw is what's below the oil indicator is the low beam indicator.

So, the strobing D light didn't act up this morning, and I think the nano-second green light flash that I saw was the high beam indicator. It flashed on and off a few times this morning in overcast conditions.

I've seen random lights and even some sort of messages (some RED or YELLOW) flash on the screen several times. But only a nanosecond. I see them out of the corner of my eye, but they're gone by the time I look down at the screen.

Prolly just 'shroom use from the past. Or Ford just being Ford.

I'm going with Ford being Ford. The mushroom use was once back in 2000, and I can assure you I haven't seen ANYTHING like that since. (Kind of a shame, really...)

Well, I took my Maverick in today in an attempt to diagnose the strobing D on the instrument cluster. A diagnostics test was done and revealed nothing. Yeah, I knew there was no way something like that would replicate. I definitely haven't seen it since. Oh well. Got The Works done on my Maverick. Good to go for another 5000 miles.

We believe you.. :giggle:

For me it has been like going from an "Abacus" (2008 Ford Ranger) to IBM "Big Blue" (2022 Mav).
There is SOOO much, computer in my puppy. IT has more "Computer-power/computer-controlled items", than my cell phone (new), Home computer (New), my 2017 Surface laptop and ME, put together.
Most of the issues, others seem to be experiencing (Hybrid/Eco) seem to ME to be software related...

Way TOO MUCH, PC-power for my liking. But, the Maverick was the ONLY Ranger replace that I can find....
