According to the Manuel in the Ford Maverick 2022 XLT, The Blind Spot System is to engage at 59' feet after 30 mph and 13' below 30 mph. Mine stays at 13' at all speeds. Dealer told me it is not adjustable.

It’s automatic based on your speed, you can’t adjust it manually…. You can only turn it on or off.
I checked mine on the way to my physical therapy this morning. It only lights up at the longer distance if the approaching vehicle is going at a higher rate of speed then you. Which makes sense cuz you don’t want it warning you every time there’s a car in the other lane farther behind you going the same speed as you.My question is;
isn’t the Blind Spot system supposed to alert one at distances greater than 13’ at speeds greater than 30 mph? Mine only goes off at 13 feet no matter what the speed. See page 237 of Ford Manual.
