So my blind spot monitor doesn’t beep if I signal and there’s some thing in the blind spot it only blinks on the mirror is there an option for sound or is it only the light blinking?

Also is there anyway to turn off the honking when I went the car or when I leave the car with the keys for a second it honks at me too. This is stupidly annoying. None of my other cars honk at me. I’m not sure if I am missing something but I couldn’t find it in the menus for both issues.

Ford is the only manufacturer that I know of that doesn't have the beep if you signal with a car in your blind spot. I'm sure there are more, but I haven't driven any that don't other than Ford.

Im actually confused by your comment. I havent had a ford in a while but I have many other cars and the both the blindspot and key not detected feature works pretty much the same across all of them. The ford is the only manufacturer that does both of these very differently.

The honk when you close the door with the keys outside and vehicle running can be disabled with FORScan at least.
Thank god. I was just searching around for this. The honking is obnoxiously loud.

There’s a warning for everything.

Oh ok, yea I am aware. I just wasnt aware of the way ford is doing it. Blind spot having no audible sound and the key not detected actually using the horn and honking twice are so different from my Tesla, Hyundai's, Mazda and Porsche that I was really thrown off.

It's only annoying until you leave it running in an enclosed garage.

Never done that with any of my other cars so I’m not that worried.

The lack of a blind spot audible warning is a head scratcher, should at least be a setting to enable/disable but I dont think even forscan can do it. Oddly, you can set an audible alert for going over the traffic sign detected speed limit in forscan 😂

I'm glad there is no blind spot sound. I check my blind spot. A flashing light is great, but I don't need a noise when I am turning my blinker on to slide in behind someone passing me.
