Does anyone have a link or information on a better cellular antenna for the Maverick? I am not sure if the sharkfin on the roof is the cellular antenna (as well as the standard radio antenna). I've seen the posts for the stubby antenna.

I have good cell service where I live and really don't have much need for the vehicle-based wi-fi, since I can easily hotspot my phone, if necessary. I recently went up north to go hunting and my mobile service was terrible. I was able to activate the vehicle's wi-fi and was surprised to see that I was getting a solid 40Mbps LTE connection that seemed to come and go. It gave me the ability to download some movies and games for the cabin.

Since I do camp a handful of times every year, I think it may be beneficial for me to pay for vehicle data during the months I go camping. The truck uses AT&T and seems to have a much better connection to the towers, which would make sense, since the vehicle is not power-limited like a cell phone and has much more space for an antenna. My dad had an iPad and iPhone, both on AT&T, and could only get a 3G connection and pretty spotty connections. My uncle's Samsung (also AT&T) rarely got a decent signal either.

If there is a better antenna (even if it is larger) that could be swapped out, like the stubby one, I could keep the larger antenna in one of the cubbies, and then attach it whenever I am camping or in an area where a more effective antenna may be useful.

I put a 16" antenna on mine, bought it on the internet for about $12, it has to be one with metric threads. It increased my am-fm about 10 miles more, it's not a lot but helpful in the country & takes 30 seconds to install.

While my Maverick gets built I installed a WeBoost on my Cherokee expecting great performance for the price paid. Would not do it again the hype is just that.
