Come to think of it, I think the covid provision of reports without limit is still being used, but I haven't really been watching.
As for rates: WestStar CU in Nevada, with 740 score, is now 3.99% for 36, 4.99% for 48, and 5.99 up to 84!
I even tossed together a spreadsheet out of curiosity to put them side by side, comparing to leaving the money invested, and then played around with it.
At 17.53% return, it would make the maverick payment on an 84 month lone with 18 cents left over (on $40,000).
uhm, just to be clear: that is *not* a reasonable return to expect. (Although it is more than five points below any of my returns in the last six years--except that -21% in 2022, which does horrible things to my average!)
