Best accessory/mod under $100?

Which bump step is this I picture? The XL one covers the license plate and worried if it will get me stopped by police? TIA

I just want to add I installed a Rhino bumper step shortly after I got my truck in Nov 2021. A month after I got my Maverick someone let their car roll into my back bumper and she said she was having trouble with her brakes. Didn't do anything except put a square dimple on the front of her car. I ordered the step the next day. I have never had a problem with the police even though it was wider than I expected and covers half of the license plate when viewed directly from the back.

I have an MXT 275 mounted in the trucklet and a Radioddity GM-30. Like them both. The handheld is like $30.

I also have a Zoleo satellite communicator that uses the Iridium network. With how remote some of my camping and biking adventures are, it's worth every penny.

I used 3M PPF. The same used on exterior paint. Got it on Amazon. It works really well to protect this area and many more areas that tend to scuff or scratch. I used it on lower door panels, door sills, etc. anywhere where you make constant contact. As you know, this Maverick interior is very soft.

The Ford tailgate liner which cost around $65. With the tailgate in the half way down position long yard timbers rest on the liner and won't scratch the paint. I believe it would resist scratching better than a spray in option. I opted for the heavy Rough Country mat also under $100 to protect the floor and keep objects in place. I can take a sharp curve and nothing slides on the Rough Country mat.

I can't tell you all the things I bought for my Maverick. I can tell you I was surprised how much I like the tail gate damper. I don't know if the strobing brake light is affective, but it is cheap and easy. Most of the accessories I got were cosmetic or expensive. However, I fined the wireless dongle and glove box divider very convenient.

I double checked, that is the bulb I ordered, and it does work on a my22.

A brake light bulb seems like a strange thing to change from year to year.
