Has anyone tried installing a keyed or combination lock on the storage cubby. I've looked at a bunch online that look like they would work.

Just checking to see if someone has done this yet to save me the trouble of trial and error. Stupid that it doesn't lock.

I've installed this exact lock, very easy to do. There was a tiny bit of filing the hole and slight bending and adjusting the lock tab, other than that, simple.
This required very little filing of plastic hole, and no bending of the optional lock tab.
Same one Tbone289 referenced.

(Previous product I got, it was going to be too long requiring filing down, or cutting slot bigger in the cubby, and bending the lock tab to different angle)
