I’m looking to add Bed lights to my 2024, Maverick XL. Looking for suggestions on what lights to use? I have a 4 hole USB panel with switches (2 USB ports and two switches) that I’m going to install when I get the lights. I was going to hook the lights to one of the switches on that panel.

Thanks

My suggestion is just get any 15' or 5m light strip. you can run it all the way around the bed and not have extra wires for multiple lights. You want to look for something IP67 or IP68 rated so it waterproof. most have adhesive backing so its easy to mount and then just trim off the excess. Also, both ends will have wiring on them. One usually made for a 12v plug and the other is just the 2 bare wires for power so you have the option on wiring.

Another forum member posted this thread where he used cheap 0.75in round LEDs common on boats and trailers. I think it passes as OEM better than an LED strip, and it's easier to have a few around for when (not if) the cheap lights break or the clear lenses turn yellow. I've never had an LED strip survive very long.

Here's another option-- RV camp lights.
