My led lighting in my bed... The truck 12v times out after 15 min (unless modified in forscan). How I keep it charged... Have a hidden connection for solar panel or clamps for battery charger.

Nice job. If you connect a trickle charger to your 12v outlet, will it still time out after 15 min.?

Yes. Unless you modify the time in forscan.

So battery is in cubby with negative and positive going to the left connections on the 3 way switch

On the right side the switch has the 12v power from the truck

The middle connections feed the accessories like my led bed lights and the power station (usb/Aux sig power).

I have another direct wire connector directly to the battery in the cubby for charging like solar or battery charger.

Thinking of getting this battery isolator so aux battery will charge off of truck power.

Will the bed 12v pigtails 'wake' when you hit lock/unlock? I know it times out after 15min, I'm planning to install some bed lighting, and would like to be able to turn the lights on when coming back to the truck. I can find lots of posts complaining about it timing out, but not much info on whether there are any tricks to get them to work when returning the truck when it's off.
