I just finished installing my MX4 Tonneau Cover and found that the corrugated drain tubes that came with it are not wide enough to fit over the mouth of the drain on the rail, but also too wide to fit in it. Looking at the tube is this video at around 3 minutes in, there appears to be a flat portion at the mouth of the tube that I am missing. I’m sure I can find a replacement at Home Depot or Lowe’s, but is the drain tube is supposed to fit IN or OVER the drain? Once I know that I can measure the mouth of the drain correctly.

Also, if anyone could take a picture of their drain tube so I can be sure I get the correct one, I’d appreciate it.

Yeah, I saw those hoses and adapters. Mine also came with something like this though:

I would prefer to use the ones like this because sometimes it rains ridiculously hard where I live and I’m not convinced that the smaller hose is up to the task. Plus, I’d rather not put a hole in the rubber plug for the drain hole in the bed.

Gotcha. I don't remember mine coming with those corrugated hoses.

I received and installed my MX4 today and I also got the thin drain tubes with the adapter. Has anyone gotten the adapters to fit properly? They kind of hang on there, but I'm sure they'll fall off with vibration.

I have a soft folding cover. Are the drain tubes only for the hard covers?

I was also perplex at first during the install, but like HRG pointed out, the little funnel adapters in the bag did the trick. They are pretty snug and have not vibrated loose yet.
