This is ridicules, people are receiving their 2025 mavericks while my 2024 is sitting in a dusty dirty lot due to the recall.
Ford has to do something for the people that ordered a 2024….some kind of compensation.
Or maybe keep your 2024 and give me a 2025 at the same price.
Come on ford, I thought you were better than that.

So, they did not give it back for a camera recall? I received the notice but have not taken in as they said they would notify when I could take it in

Soooo...question here. If you have a 2024 and take it in for any type of service....will they...or CAN they keep your truck until the camera recall is performed? Just curious. Thanks.

The stop sale totally blows! I understand your frustration. Just think, you are ready now for all the further recalls when you actually get your Mav!

OP: Shit happens.

I doubt you'll have to wait as long as many folks did who ordered 23s & 24s during the worldwide supply chain issues. I was one of those who waited 13 months. Many waited twice that long. All I got for my wait was MSRP, which was promised anyway.

I did my 1st oil change at the dealer last week & they did not keep my truck, so I wouldn’t think so.

I never got it to begin with. I paid $10,000. down and when it showed up on Thanksgiving I was stoked. But, NO they won’t give it to me and I sold my old truck to make room for the new one. Now I’m losing out on work.

I have been driving my 2024 XL hybrid since April with the recalled backup camera and it has only frozen once. I would think they could allow you to sign a liability waiver and you would be in the same condition as I am now.

I'm grateful that my 2025 is scheduled to be built this week. It's my guess that FORD has so many affected vehicles they are looking for a cheap software update solution, but it's looking like an equipment hardware incompatibility bug. I suppose a big reputation black eye is better than thousands of lawsuits for potential injuries, loss of revenue, etc. Upgrading to SYNC 4 and replacing the rear camera and touch screen interface would dedicatedly solve the problem, but at a huge cost to FORD. If I owned a 2024 I would be inclined to upgrade and put this mess behind me. I feel sorry for those that can't take delivery due to the stop sale. I hope they get compensated.

So far, the back up camera working Ok. Might be doing an oil change at dealer Quick Change. And if I do, will first ask if they plan to seize the truck. If they say yes, I will say give me $35,000, and you can keep it.
