Seems like a good time to start compiling the list of opportunities for us Arizonians to see a Maverick in person. I know we have a handful of folks working with local dealers, time to share our leads!

1. Sanderson Ford in Glendale will have a Maverick on site for Dealer Training 8/18/21 from 10-3ish.

Yes! I will be seeing that Maverick at Sanderson Ford. Wonder how its going to go.

If you can, ask the Trainer if they know when they'll be heading down to Tucson. So far from what I've been told by my local dealership is that they will get a two week notice before hand. That sounds like Company statement to me. Yet, I'm thinking if the Trainer is at Sanderson Ford why wouldn't they be heading down to Tucson after doing all the Phoenix area dealerships. Thanks

Spoke with a rep at Chapman Ford in Scottsdale today and they seemed a bit clueless about it. Insisted the Ford hasn’t even made any Mavericks yet. So, probably don’t plan on that location.

I ordered at Chapman, as that is closest dealer to where I live... Seemed semi-clueless but pretended to know what was going on. Doubtful I'll get a heads-up if a demo Mav comes by but hoping one does.

Well they took my $500 and I got a Ford email later on so at least that part worked out. But I knew guy was somewhat clueless when he started badmouthing Teslas for being "completely built overseas".

Sounds like he's really keeping up with his chosen profession! Hopefully you'll be able to have a more knowledge salesperson when it comes time to close your deal on the Maverick. Of course, being on this forum will also help you become more knowledgeable about all things Maverick.

Dang, I would have gone out there if I knew. Now I'm going to drive to Sanderson Ford to see if they have the training model today. If not, I'll see if there's any word on SanTan Ford getting some training on it.
