I didn't realize the vehicles were so differently equipped. I missed that on the initial post. I was assuming that both vehicles were factory equipped or very near so. But of course given those modifications, the difference makes perfect senseI can almost guarantee that the mpg numbers would not be similar if driven side by side in the same conditions. I'm running 255/65R17 offroad AT tires that weigh 45 lbs each and I'm on 2" lift. Even driving easy, on the freeway, I never see more than 24 mpg.
