AWD vs FWD Mpg

I can almost guarantee that the mpg numbers would not be similar if driven side by side in the same conditions. I'm running 255/65R17 offroad AT tires that weigh 45 lbs each and I'm on 2" lift. Even driving easy, on the freeway, I never see more than 24 mpg.

I didn't realize the vehicles were so differently equipped. I missed that on the initial post. I was assuming that both vehicles were factory equipped or very near so. But of course given those modifications, the difference makes perfect sense
