Don’t have any details. They left me a voicemail. My point being is this is how you find them. You call and call and the next day you do the same. Eventually you’re the front of the line because you’ve made a name for yourself. If you want one bad enough you will find one at MSRP. Ive also been told sometimes they list over MSRP to curb the calls and if you go there and negotiate they will bring it back down to MSRP.

The early bird gets the worm. But the squeaky wheel also gets the oil.

As has bees 100 or more times. Dealer websites list ORDERED Mavericks ant they are not in stock. When one is refused most dealers have a list of people waiting for one.

This means opportunity. Tons of people arent taking delivery. First come first serve people.

It isnt scheduled or anything but should I cancel it or wait to see what prices are when it finally comes? The one I purchased isnt FX4 and isnt the color I chose but it added CP360,moon roof and sliding rear window so it was a wash.

That's a tough choice between FX4 vs CP360! But I'd keep the order and make that decision when the FX4 arrives, maybe you'll find out you can't live without CP360?

Most dealers that have listed hybrids in Michigan won't sell to out of state customers. I have beenhad refused multiple times because I live in Ohio.

Wonder if that has anything to do with the notorious rivalry between colleges in the respective states?

Yes it will. $2000 price increase and $2000 more for finance, some will walk away.

I disagree, but lets say it does. Ford still has 4 buyers for every Maverick. Supply is still a long ways from meeting demand. And an increase in rates will drive more people toward fuel efficient budget trucks, where Maverick is currently leading the pack.

If you agree that some will walk then there will be some available at dealers. I never said no one was willing to buy them.

I don't think anyone is doubting that some people are not taking delivery, but nothing at all would suggest "tons" of people are doing so. In fact, all available evidence indicates that is extremely rare.

You’re right the word tons is vague, next time I’ll reference the exact amount of people not taking delivery.
