Didn't find any posts so here's my question..I never hear the aux fan go on no matter how far I drive or how hot it is here in Phoenix. I guess I'm use to hearing it engage on my other vehicles especially once I park or sit in traffic so please anyone, enlighten me on this and thanks in advance

Mine came on once at about 8K Feet of elevation and 88 degrees after some fun off roading- It was loud- Hasn't come on since that I recall even when towing in the heat-

Didn’t even know my Ecoboost had an auxiliary fan, where is it ?
My radiator fan is almost silent, can’t be heard inside the cab with the windows up, they’re always up in the summer.

so just spoke with my local Ford dealer and he says there are 2 fans on the 2022 ecoboost lariat and they're activated by the temp of the engine but they do not come on when the engine is off...I'm having them do a diagnostic on my front cv axles and brakes and they said they blocked off 2 hours to do this but if I have concern regarding these fans they can pull the codes but thst wpuld be another hour which I think is BS considering 2 hours to look at cv axles and front brakes to determine if there are issues seems to be more than enough time and they can't take the 10 minutes to pull codes?

No other fan mentioned in the System Operation in service manual for EB.
Nor the removal instructions that pic came from.

Component Description
Cooling Fan
The PCM monitors certain parameters, such as engine coolant temperature, vehicle speed, A/C ON/OFF status, A/C pressure to determine engine cooling fan needs.
The PCM controls the fan speed and operation using a duty cycle output on the FCV circuit. The fan controller (located at or integral to the engine cooling fan assembly) receives the FCV command and operates the cooling fan at the speed requested (by varying the power applied to the fan motor).
The fan controller is able to detect certain failure modes within the fan motors. Under certain failure modes, such as a motor that is drawing excessive current, the fan controller shuts the fans off. Fan motor concerns may not set a specific DTC. With the fan motor disconnected from the fan controller, voltage may not be present at the fan controller.

Fan is fairly quiet, unless you're really pushing it hard. I only really hear it from the outside when I'm pretending to be a rally driver in hot weather on forest service roads.

I live in triple digit temps here in Texas. Mine does come on, usually when I remote start my truck. It is loud!!! sounds like a jet engine. Then as soon as I actually start the truck it goes off. The only other time I have heard it come on, was pulling a 4,000 camper up a steep grade.
