I'm a huge BEV fan who doesn't own a BEV. I keep waiting for them to be a no-brainer for me personally. From everything I see, that's still a few years down the road. I want access to Tesla Superchargers, which Ford will have shortly. I want my BEV to cost less than ICE, and most analysts say that's mid-decade. I want a solid state battery that absolutely won't catch fire and is lighter and has longer range - and most analysts say that's late decade (Toyota maybe much sooner). And I want the form factors I like - especially the two door Bronco as a BEV or better yet the 2-door Bronco with a tiny truck bed (but I don't have $75,000 to pay for an electric Bronco).
