Be forewarned don't buy the product unless you know you can install it without instructions.
As long as you know where to plug it in OR can figure it out without instructions. What I understand from a different thread is that it does not come with instructions

The below thread addresses concerns about the product your considering. Most importantly it's lack of installation instructions.

I bought a more expensive version ($100) that only required me to pop off the little panel on the right side of the console and insert inline with the connector there. Took me five minutes to install and works great.

Just use FORSCAN. No hardware required. Easy to do and the cost of the dongle for programing is about the same cost. And you can get rid of a LOT of other annoying things as well. All for the same price or less.

Doesn't FORScan require a laptop?
That's the problem with assuming.
Some of us DON'T Own a PC, laptop, tablet...etc or/and are not comfortable changing the trucks programming. One misstep like not saving as built, can be very frustrating for somebody not familiar

Well, yes. I know; I assumed everyone owns one. And Yes I know what ASS U ME means. My Bad. I guess if you dont have a laptop yur sort of SOL. And a 100.00 device to get rid of start stop is cheaper. But honestly just getting rid of the HONK HONK with the key on my pocket and truck running would make me spend the 300.00 for a cheap laptop and a dongle. Oh and the Seatbelt screen, and the start stop. and Power outlets going to sleep and the other 12 things I did to my truck.

I like the ability to have it just "remember" the last auto stop/start setting I used instead of disabling it outright through FORScan. I have used FORScan to change a few settings already, but this was one task I felt is better handled by the dedicated device. To each their own!
