I do not have my Maverick yet or I would check this myself. On the 6.5" Productivity Screen (Lariat, FX/4 & Tremor) it is my understanding that if you select menu, then select screens there is an option to select / deselect the Auto Start Stop Feature. Is this indeed the case? Thanx.

I'd like to know this as well. I don't want to purchase a hardware eliminator if I can disable it from the menu.

Yeah. Reading through the thread about disabling the seat belt nag screen it showed a picture of the screen and there it is, second from the top. I was surprised to see that as I have not seen any mention of that previously, but could have missed it.

Pretty sure there is, but it is the same as turning it off on the center console. It will revert back once the truck is turned off.

I can't say for sure... I have a "Lowly" XL :ROFLMAO:...
All I do is "push" the little Start/Stop Button, right after I buckle up the seat belt..
After while, I don't even notice it...

Page 170 of the manual.

Can I permanently switch thesystem off?
No. The system plays an important role in reducing the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions.

Yes there is that option on my 2023 Maverick Lariat. Don’t know if it resets back when exiting the vehicle but will definitely check it out.

OK, I'm kinda a nerd but know nothing of Forscan. Is it something I could learn relatively easily? Are there Maverick specific tutorials that take a newbie through the steps of Forscan mods? I find the whole idea of tweaking the truck to my liking to be fascinating!

Basically you need a PC (I'm a Mac/iOS guy so bought a cheap Asus laptop just for this use) and a OBDlink EX Forscan OBD adaptor (Amazon $60.00). Download Forscan and purchase the user license which I think was $10 or something like that. Seems a little intimidating at first but pretty easy once you understand the program. Lots of tutorials on Youtube.

I had this same curiosity before I took delivery. Now that I’ve had the truck a few days I’ve been leaving it default and is not bothering me so far. The ecoboost engine is pretty quiet at idle so the noise difference isn’t as noticeable as I expected.

That's confirmed on my '23 Lariat EB 2.0. No matter where it is disabled, center console and/or instrument panel, the stop/start is enabled when the engine is started next time. I always shut it off on the center console...

Leaving it enabled probably saves some fuel, if enabled all the times, especially in city traffic. My Maverick's mileage is 95% in city traffic and on average, it does 19 - 20 mpg instead of the 22 mpg listed on the window sticker. Yeah, it probably saves some fuel....
