I have had my '24 Lariat Hybrid for 2 years. I listen almost exclusively to Sirius XM in the car. For some reason, out of the blue, rather than picking up at whatever the last station listened to was, it has started to begin on an AM station that has nothing but static. This occurs both on engine startup (if the radio was left on) and also with turning on the radio if it was off. As far as I know, nothing else has changed. Is there a setting to pick what happens on start up with the radio?
Thanks!

There should be a fuse somewhere for "radio memory", it's probably blown

Otherwise your radio might be bad

There is no setting.
It should go back.

Even listening to USB drive songs - it should go back to where it left off.
Mine mostly does.

Since it's a big computer - try turning it off then on again.
By disconnecting the negative battery terminal for some minutes.
Wait 2 minutes after turning truck off though. Manual references that.

I always listen to Sirius, yesterday when I started my Maverick I noticed that I was unable to change stations using the Sirius Source it showed “Sirius Loading” on the screen. I changed sources several times and was able to switch stations on AM and FM so I switched back to Sirius and the issue continued - after I parked the Maverick for several hours the problem seems to be resolved - first time I ever experienced this after a year of ownershi and hopefully the last time…

I regularly got/get those on my F-350 and now my Maverick. Takes a minute or two to update and the operates normally. Happens about 2-3 times a month.

My infotainment system just started doing this since the last update, AM static or just no audio at all and I have to reselect XM/Sirius as the source. Annoying and now happening on each startup. Reset the radio and it came up with nothing selected...again. Having a technician doing the recall update this afternoon and will show him what it is doing.(concern not duplicated at this time).

My new 2026 Lariat has started some strange radio behavior upon startup too. I only use Android Auto when I'm navigating somewhere (don't like Google Maps taking up most of the screen when I'm not using it). Most of the time, I'm either listening to an FM radio station, or songs from a USB drive. This past week, the truck seems to have alternated starting up with either the USB drive or the radio station, no matter which was playing when I shut it off. Very strange.
