I'm not holier than thou. I'm saying that what you ask is how it works, and you're not going get it. So for the thousandth time, use your knob. It's not a 15 step startup/shutdown procedure. It's a knob.

Again, for the thousandth time, if there's a complaint which you do not care about, why bother commenting... You're providing no solution aside from "oh well get over it"

It'd be super easy to get over it if the bluetooth worked 100% of the time, and didn't blast static AM radio waves through the speakers, and take a solid 5-10 seconds to react to me turning the volume down. It's a genuine complaint and "get over it" is just lazy. Ford sends regular updates, the vehicle you pick up in May 22 is different than the vehicle you drive December 22, because updates let them improve the experience, so "you're not gonna get it, get over it" is just lazy.

Software updates CAN be downloaded on your computer, copied to a USB stick, and then used to update your system. The Ford app on my phone kept telling me I had an update available, but the truck would not download it - kept saying it was current. After trying it OTA a few times, I just downloaded the update to a USB stick, and that process worked easily.
