Only talking about tires but if I read everything correctly on FWD 2.0/4k versions the XL/XLT are shod with AT tires while the same option Lariat uses AS tires. I was going to buy the XLT FWD 2.0/4k but it shows a late availability so thats my main reason for upgrading to a Lariat. Just thought it interesting that XL/XLT would use AT and the Lariat AS unless they thought the AS would be a little quieter? Also interesting the XL/XLT AWD models are shod with AS tires vice AT tires like the FWD. Not a big issue but I thought AT tires had a little more aggressive tread so would be more beneficial with AWD.

Two comments.
Lariat gets a choice, 18" A/S or 17" A/T, so "available at a price." I'd want to see what tires they choose.
re: A/T on FWD, higher traction tires make sense on the version with less traction, kind of evens things up.
