Maverick was my first hybrid vehicle and I'm confident that I'll never go back to pure ICE vehicles ever again. The instant acceleration makes you feel very much connected to the truck. Also red light, stop signs etc are becoming almost therapeutic. Not to mention the smile at the gas pump, I will be filling up 10 times a year at the current rate.

I just feel there is a solid demand for a small truck, hybrid not required. Cost is not the driver for everyone buying these, I just wanted a small truck that fits in my garage, it being smaller is the selling point. The only way I would buy a hybrid is for one that adds to the performance not takes it away and I would pay for that. I drive maybe 10K miles a year between 2 vehicles, high MPG really doesn't weigh that much in that equation.
