Definitely better than the ford snug, but something still seems a little awkward about it. Maybe it will look better in darker colors? I wish we had a full profile view to get a better idea of whats going on with the roof line an so on...
I've got the alto blue. If I were to get one, I would get gloss black to keep the truck's outline/silhouette. Definitely, looks better than the snugtop.

Why is it so hard to find a shell that flows with truck design. They cant move past 1990s designs. They're charging 1/5 the trucks price at least tweak the side windows a bit.
I figure it will take maybe another 6 months before they have a few more options. Hopefully the price will come down some too. Right now there more pricey than a F-150 cap which is much larger.

I think slightly textured matte black (it's a Jeep color) would be perfect. And maybe single piece windows, though I do want venting for when the doggo is back there on mild days (On hot or cold days he'll be in the cab, on field day's he'll be in an insulated crate in the bed).
It’s available when you do your build through ARE. I’m not sure if it’s an add on price. It would blend nice with the trim on the bed

OTR is an add-on for a few hundred bucks. There is a factory Jeep "paint" that is a less-durable OTR and looks great. What paint code that is, I don't know.

Will definitely look into this cap once my MY23 XLT arrives. Much better look and functionality (windows) than the Ford SnugTop IMO.

A bit concerned about the roof gap (above pic) between the ARE Roof and the Roof of the truck though. Seems like an area that would catch alot of dirt and debris, as well as potential water catch area where the cap meets the truck front bed rim.

I posted photos of a Ranch mid-rise topper/cap here.

Notably, it has a different leading edge profile by the CHMSL and a few more inches for us not short people.

Cheers.

My local topper/cap dealer just sent me some photos of a raised cap being test fitted. I have no other details. I can only guess from the shadow line that the CHMSL profile is similar to the V-series.

Cheers.

Very cool - thanks for sharing. Likely the Maverick version of their MX canopy which is what I heard they're working on now that the V series is out.

Better, but I want one with a vertical rear and full-height barn doors that replace the tailgate.

I’m not sure if this has been covered but i finally found a pic of the ARE V series that they were taking pre orders on.
This looks way better than the snug top ford one.

what’s your input?

no clue on price, just saw it and Posted it.

Hey, any chance you can bug your dealer to see if they can get any updates on this?
