The Lariat has painted door handles. You can probably get an auto body shop to paint yours.

You can also get stick-on covers in ABS plastic (paintable), chrome, carbon fiber, etc..

The Lariat trim comes with paint to match handles. One of the many mods I plan on doing in the future. I'd paint the factory XLT handles, but I don't particularly like the chunkiness of them, the Lariat spec handles just feel more "premium" if you will.

Aren't they just a painted version of the door handles used for any vehicle with keyless start? So, same as on XL or XLT, just painted as part of the trim package.

I do like mine being body color, have to wait and see how it holds up. Barely cracked 3k miles on it so far.
