has anybody tried this and had it confirmed working in the mav? would hate to spend 600-800 on a paperweight that i cant return.

ended up just buying the oem leather steering wheel for the maverick. didnt know what else to spend my ford points onThere are threads about using a focus or fiesta st wheel, a lot cheaper than this and similar in look with a flat bottom, leather wrapped and all the controls.
All you have to do is buy the steering wheel switches from Ford for the cruise control and use Forscan to tie into the truck and definitely way cheaperIf I could afford it, I would.
Perhaps you are confusing an agreement for a nice steering wheel with knowledge of various methods of accomplishing a task. I was just encouraging the guys post.
