I ordered my Hybrid on November 1. Listening to this guy in the video it appears all those that ordered in October or earlier are safe. Not sure what he is saying about November. Anyone heard this?

I watched it. I believe he’s saying that if you ordered before the cutoff of I think 11/17 you’re good.
Johnny was just debunking the article he’s talking about that said production has stopped on the Mav which is obviously not true.

Cancellation as the header stated. He claimed cancellations have already reported for some Hybrid orders that were placed in November....Not clear what he was saying but he did say October or before October are safe from Cancellation from what I could make of it. Not real clear..

I just saw Johnny's video, and I am concerned that my order would have been extended to MY23. Which I hope is not the case. My order was placed with our local dealer on November 8th and I have an order code and deposit placed. It would be good if Ford came out and clarified exactly what is going on. If they don't , I hope there is somebody on this forum who can.

The cut-off for hybrid orders was November 15th. If you were confirmed, and your dealer sent in your ROVP with a copy of your ID/driver's license by the 17th, you've met the deadline.

Johnny's video is the biggest bunch of misinformation about the Maverick I have seen to date. Even when he tries to reassure he says things like 2023 when he meant 2022. All he did was cause more doubt than clear up anything.

@fordvideoguy should clear up whatever mess Johnny made.

Sorry but Johnny looks and sounds a bit more shady to me. He's the typical sales guy I avoid or walk away from when going into a dealership.

Don't rail on Johnny too much! Even Tim Bart, as sharp as he is, has had to go back on some of the info he has given. These guys try to assist each other when one may be a little off on info given. Thank God for both of them, as they are beneficial in so many ways to the channel. He was simply saying Maverick HYBRID orders placed after November 17 will not be built as 2022's and have been cut off (meaning no further 2022 HYBRIDS will be built unless ordered before that time). Simple to understand! Let's be nice to these young men spending so much time trying to help us all understand and stay up to date! They could spend these late night hours recording this information with their families, and have every right to do so...then we'd be much worse off! Thanks to all of you, but especially to Tim & Johnny for the work they put in. My father-in-law, John Pollan, was over Dealer Development for the Dallas Zone before he became a Ford Lincoln Mercury Dealer in Texas. I was in Dealer Development in Dallas as well. Ford is an excellent company putting our quality trucks for scores of years. The Maverick will be a huge hit. Let's have fun with it all! Good luck on your purchases!

I respect and appreciate Johnny and Tim for what they do. Just stating my impressions of Johnny. Not saying that he's a bad person by any means. From the video, I wish he could just stated from the beginning that info coming from Motor Biscuit is incorrect. It took him a while to say that it ain't so. He seems to dance around quite a bit in his videos before giving us the info that we want. At least from my perspective.
