Just brought her home yesterday!! Quick question - anyone know what this button does - hand and circle - it's next to the Traction Control on/off. No dash or screen lights come on and haven't been able to find in the owner's manual. A touch embarrassing but let's take it to the forum for an answer!! Lariat/Lux/360. PS - this truck is the coolest, neatest, slickest car out of the 21 previous cars/trucks I've owned. First pickup!

'Auto Hold applies the brakes to hold your
vehicle after you stop it and release the
brake pedal. This can help when waiting
on a hill or in traffic.'

Also, congratulations on the new Maverick. And additional kudos to you for answering your own question!

So far I only really use that button when I'm waiting in line at a drive thru.

You got it! One of my favorite features that I almost cannot believe I used to live without LOL.
I hear you! Do you think keeping on all the time is an issue? I use it all the time!

I've had my truck a week or so and have basically left it on all the time. I really like it now that I've gotten used to it

Personally, I don't like the Auto Hold as Ford did it. On my Mercedes Sprinter, it is always on in the background; you activate it by coming to a stop and then giving a hard press on the brake pedal. This way you can choose when you want it active. With my new Mav, if I'm in the parking lot and want to take my foot off the brake and creep forward at idle, I have to tap the gas pedal first to release AutoHold, which is not what I want to do in close quarters. For now, I am leaving it off and only switching it on when I want it (mostly in stop & go traffic)
