After recently doing recalls and hoping for the best, I decided to toss in some LED rear brake lights. They Hyperflash on the display and switch, but not at the bulbs (normal flash rate at bulbs).

I already had installed LEDs in the front switchbacks, the third brake and bed lights, and the rear reverse lights that played together well for months now, but adding the four rear brake LED bulbs caused the hyperflash.

I like the brightness of the LED brake bulbs, and may just keep them installed for now. I guess the main drawback would be not knowing if a rear bulb was out by a rapid blinker (and click) on the dash, just like before the recall. Maybe another problem could be the audible "clicker" burning out sooner, but I doubt that would be an issue anytime soon.

Anyone else grinning and bearing with the display hyperflash since the bulbs actually flash at the correct rate?

I have kept all my LED's in. Lasfit has updated bulbs for the XL and XLT, but not the Lariat, which I have. So I put up with the hyperflashing on my dash panel.

I've got an XLT and had the recalls done on Tuesday. Lasfit is already sending the T3 bulbs so I'm putting up with the hyperflash until they arrive.

Need to swap out with the newer T3 led bulbs. Mine only hyper flash on the dash for a half second now. I can live with that.

I’ve had one update done, waiting on 2 more(7-3). When I use my signals I still get 3 quick hyper flashes. On the dash.
updating here my Maverick is of XL trim.

Please report back if the T3s work without the hyperflash.

Lasfit confirmed on the phone that the T3's have been successful in solving the problem for XL and XLT trims, but I'll update when I get them installed.

I have a 2022 XL, I have the T 3’s in my vehicle and I still get three hyper flashes on the dash.

I disabled the outage indicator with Forscan. The LED bulbs are brighter, look better and probably operate at a lower temperature. If Ford would just edit their software to account for the lower resistance of replacement LED bulbs it wouldn't be a problem.

Currently I have cargo and switchback LED's. I love the brightness of these LED's.
My thinking is, if the brightness bothers somebody, it got their attention.
If it's just the hyper flashing on the dash and everything else is normal.
I guess I will be ordering the brake/turn signal and backup lights too.
