Small issue with display xm songs

Took my truck on my first long trip. I noticed the song on the display between the gauges was not correct. The artist is but when the next song came on it would still show the old song. Going to the touchscreen the song is correct. I am running android auto with a wireless dongle. I got the truck about 11 months ago and when I try to update the system it says software is up to date. Aa far as I know it never had an update.This is a lariat lux. Minor issue but it bugs me.

Happens every so often for me as well. Mostly correct lately. Got no idea what version and since it all works I don't care..

I've had the same intermittent problem. Also, have it in my 22 Corsair since I bought it almost 2 years ago. BTW, the current sw version in my 23 is 22251. The vehicle was built in May.

Happens to me also. Normally only when I leave my phone connected and shut off the truck and exit it. Then when I get back in and start it that happens.

Mines connected all the time. Seems odd how that would affect it as it's ok on the touchscreen.

I agree, but it is the only time I notice it happens. If I unplug it when it does it for a minute it returns to normal.

Just a random thought but if your truck never connects to the Ford system it will never know it needs an update. Have anything turned off?

Well I have wifi on and connected. I search for updates. It says software is up to date. Looks like it does go through tge process. Do not see anything failed

Yeah I listen to deep tracks, classic vinyl. Sometimes I hear a song I like and would like to know the name.

I have had similar fail to completely update artist and song on other cars with xm or sirius radio. I blame it on the music service not uploading the information properly. I had a Hyundai Santa Cruz before and the same kind of thing happened also.
