After recently doing recalls and hoping for the best, I decided to toss in some LED rear brake lights. They Hyperflash on the display and switch, but not at the bulbs (normal flash rate at bulbs).
I already had installed LEDs in the front switchbacks, the third brake and bed lights, and the rear reverse lights that played together well for months now, but adding the four rear brake LED bulbs caused the hyperflash.
I like the brightness of the LED brake bulbs, and may just keep them installed for now. I guess the main drawback would be not knowing if a rear bulb was out by a rapid blinker (and click) on the dash, just like before the recall. Maybe another problem could be the audible "clicker" burning out sooner, but I doubt that would be an issue anytime soon.
Anyone else grinning and bearing with the display hyperflash since the bulbs actually flash at the correct rate?
