Has anyone yanked the Radio out an replaced it with a aftermarket Kit? Just asking If its been done. If So How?

It's not really feasible on the Maverick or pretty much any other modern vehicle, either. The radio isn't just a radio, you've got a lot of critical functions in there, control of the telematics for one.

There were some threads last year talking about installing Sync4 but it looked like a huge pain and I can't recall seeing any posts where someone successfully enabled all functionality.

The only thing I've seen done relatively easily is swapping a sync3 (B&O) non-nav for one with nav, and enabling it through Forscan. That's doable. Otherwise, just count on the factory infotainment staying put and then doing whatever you want downstream - DSP, amps, etc.

The Rostra rep was talking about attempting some aftermarket replacement on theirs whenever they got it, but they haven't posted in a good while.

I have not seen any of the normal sources release a solution for the Maverick yet. I have been checking weekly to see if anything pops up but nothing as of yet.
