Hi, i'm having problem with the wireless charger, i have a Galaxy S22 Ultra and sometime it is charging ok but sometime it starts disconnecting each 1-2 minutes... Do i have a deffective pad or is it only a bad one ? When i charge wirelessly in the house using my other chargers i have no problem at all so i don't think it's the phone.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Mine does that too. I don't think they're particularly good wireless charging pads.

Mine seems to work fine. What makes you think yours isn’t working correctly???

I just see the notification go off and on every few minutes on the screen. It's possibly still charging the phone the whole time but if that's the case, then the notification thing is buggy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have the same phone and It depends on where I set it. Seems like there is a sweet spot. The one time I used it and left it on for awhile it got extremely warm. I have a wireless charger for the house and it does not heat up like it does in the truck. Seeing how heat destroys a battery, I probably wont let it set there for long trips.

Yeah i agree with you, same here, in the house no problem with wireless charging but in the Maverick it doesnt works well at all... I won't use it anymore. Maybe the phone stop charging because it gets too warm on that charger... it's very annoying that we can't use a feature we paid for... As for the sweet spot i don't think this changes anything i tried every possible position and always get the same result. What i think it could be is the rubber tray in the cubby for the wireless charger... that + a phone case may be too thick and cause those disconnections and heat ?! Sorry for my english, it's not my primary language.

I'm having problems with mine too. It'll show that it's charging but it'll be actually losing charge and after 15 or so minutes it gets too hot to hold comfortably. 30 minutes in i get overheat warnings. This is with the AC on btw. Galaxy S22.

I have to take the case off of iPhone for charger in my Caddy to work properly. Some chargers (should be all) shut down whe n you hit 100%.

i tested with and without case and it stops at anytime, i think it is really bad or the S22 is really bad at managing heat or maybe both.

Refer to this article about cell phone cases and wireless charging. Remember, there is a covering over the wireless charger in the maverick that adds to the distance between the charger and the cell phone. You need to consider the wireless needs to go through the cell phone case plus the cover material over the charger. Hopefully this article will be informative to you. https://www.techevaluate.com/7-questions-about-wireless-charging-with-a-thick-smartphone-case/
