I was looking into putting an induction charger down on the center console where it's installed on the Lariat. I remember seeing that Park release tether in some other posts and I noticed that I don't have one? Pulled both side panels to investigate and can't find a tether anywhere. Anyone else confirm if they have it or not? Seems like a big deal if it's not there and I get towed.

2022 Ecoboost fx4 w tow package.

Wanted to bump this. My vehicle definitely doesn't have the manual park release. I think they produced some without it and people should know. Have no idea how to put it in Neutral if the transmission is broken.

We’re missing ours. Do you know if it was a manufacturing issue or something that was supposed to be installed by the dealership? They have us bouncing back and forward between the two…we’re missing some other stuff too

My Maverick suddenly died today. 5 min drive to buy groceries, turned it off and died, coudlnt even lock it.

Had to be towed. Me and the towing guy trying to put it in Neutral to load it to the truck, just to find out that no lever release in mine either.
Had to be dragged up to the towing truck. What a day.

Wonder how many are we. Seems an issue that the most basic quality control should have noticed when making these trucks.

Also wondering if the ones with this issue have Lariats? Bcos the keyless…

Pretty sure this is for the ecoboost ONLY . Not hybrid . My hybrid should be in soon. I will always have a jumper box and hope if any dead battery issue I can jump it to life.

Hi there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end.

Looks like the park release has been moved.
Or the park release had been changed for the EB 2.0; from page 187 from the manual:
