Heat almost always helps any method.
Also taking it off as soon as possible (like day 1) is easier than day 300.
Something you probably have on hand, gasoline, and I mean a tiny amount used in a WELL VENTILATED (outdoor) area can work wonders. Gas can hurt your paint after prolonged exposure but it won't with 5 or 10 minutes. It has to withstand occasional drips when refueling, and it does.
Best of luck. Odd it is so "permanent".
Too late now I think, but in general, I'd ask the dealer to remove it. You are not required to advertise for them. But they know half the people are too lazy to take it off.
