I'm curious how good of a paint job Ford did on these Mavericks considering lots of modern cars have a lot less coats of paint than cars did 20 years ago to save money.
I also noticed on ford's website where you create a build, Cyber Orange is advertised as a "Tri Coat" and Alto Blue/Hot Pepper red are advertised as a "Tinted Clear Coat Metallic". I wonder if that means only those 3 colors actually have separate layers of clear coat and are thus thicker paint jobs compared to the basic colors that don't cost extra?
I've seen both a Hot Pepper Red and Cyber Orange Mav so far on the streets of LA and both looked awesome in person. Especially the Hot Pepper Red. My Carbonized Gray looks almost like a single stage paint.
