Any recommendations on Towbars?

I'm planning on getting the Demco Baseplate, but not sure which Towbar to consider. Any recommendations and why?

we use "blue ox" it works great with the Demco. We have towed over 3000 miles with no problems. Have fun.

Did the base plate require cutting of grill or shutter system?

I put a Roadmaster Base Plate on my 2024. The lower shutters had to be removed. No cutting oh the grill required. Using a Falcon All Terrain tow bar. Tows great.

Be sure you get a tow bar rated for the weight of your Maverick. A non-binding tow bar is well worth the extra cost. I have an older Roadmaster Sterling tow bar with an adapter to fit the Demco base plate. Blue Ox tow bars hook up to the Demco base plate without an adapter.

I decided on the Falcon 2 Tow Bar. I was able to find a used one nearby.

The Roadmaster Falcon 2 is what I use for my Maverick...with a Roadmaster RM-034 adaptor set...about $50 on Amazon.
