I don't believe that 6k rollover number for a second. I mean for crying out loud, this little site is nowhere near enough for a proper metric, but when we have members with rolled first editions... It's simply not possible for there to be only 6k.
The trucks are not built FIFO, and they are not all built the same, and different dealers have different allocations. Ordering a first edition at a dealer with limited allocations, or with a bunch of constraints and getting rolled is in no way indicative of any possible number of total rolled orders.

So does this above mean by August 2022 they built 71153 Mavericks?

So more than about 86000 orders for 2023?

Which if they built 71K by August 2022 last time Then it should be close to fulfilling all 2023 order by say October 2023. Maybe December 2023 when you add in the ones not done for 2022?
Or Am I misunderstanding those numbers?

Yes, but they produce mavericks in Hermosillo for more than just the US market, also Brazil and Canada, so you can't compare the production numbers against US sales orders.

It's not too much... near as I can tell Brazil is 100-200 per month and canada is a bit more than that.

[Dateline October 2027, Blue Oval Headquarters, Dearborn MI]

FoMoCo, maintaining an unbroken 5-year chain of events, held a Press Conference today, supported by an array of charts, graphs and Venn diagrams, culminating with an admission they still have no clue how many 1st Year 2022 Mavericks were:
  1. Built
  2. Sold
  3. Cancelled
  4. Rolled over (to 2023's)
  5. Cancelled, and rolled over to 2023's
  6. Retail, Stock or Fleet
  7. Hybrids vs Ecoboost totals
  8. had Private Offers accepted
  9. had Private Offers rejected
  10. [edited addition] listed by FoMoCo under the quagmire of ‘Reservations’ (whatever that is…)
The Spokesperson (Iona Ford, hired specifically for these Press Conference duties) touted a new accessory: a water bottle, 5-years in development, (with a Maverick logo!) that actually fits the highly engineered front door panels. Some of the luster of this announcement was diminished when it was revealed this water bottle is permanently on the "Constrained" list.

[tongue, firmly planted in cheek...]

Everything indicates that 6900 WITH VIN's were rolled over. We do not know how many MY 22's WITHOUT VIN's were rolled over and had to be reordered. Could it be tens of thousands? More than likely the total of both is more than 10K and could be 20K, which is tens of thousands. Just sayin.............................
it's been almost exclusively hybrids getting rolled. I'll bet there were less than 2k ECOboosts that got rolled. I haven't seen a huge amount of either that didn't get a VIN at all reflected here? MY VIN is 97xxx and built early Oct. What was the last estimate of total VINs issued (IIRC you track this closely) something like 116k? Ford holds these numbers close to the vest, but I Won't believe there is more than 10K MY2022 rolled over VIN/No VIN combined until we see something directly from Ford on final numbers. And no, Ford Authority and Motorbiscuit references don't count!

Talked with Ford Customer Service yesterday, since Granger told me 2 weeks ago that my XLTremor was being previewed. She told me it was weird and was suprised by the status. But to expect a VIN number soon, probably when actual 23 scheduling begins.
What does it mean: order is being previewed?

Ordered the 2023 Ford XLT Maverick with Tremor, cactus grey
Last vehicle I am going to have.
Selling point = being able to place drywall or plywood in the bed and not having to pay someone to deliver it to me.

I have a 1979 Jeep CJ5 that I am slowly rebuilding
I am wondering which will be done first?

If Ford cannot or are unwilling to honor the order should I look into building my own vehicle such as a Locost 7?

Hope the Ford company gets its act together sooner than later.

As far as I know it means that Ford has 2 lists that it throws parts at to see if they will fit. One is a long list and the other a much shorter list. I think Previewing is the short list. Granger Ford had like 80 or so rollover orders, mine is one of em. Since Granger didnt take more orders in September, only 22 rollovers, maybe I am on a pretty short list.

Best damn Jeep I ever had 360, 3spd MT, 9" rear, 5" lift,5" stretch, and 33x12.50 TSLs/33x14 cut Boggers.

The number of comments on this forum like this is hilarious. Just randomly placed blurts sharing what they ordered, a tidbit about themselves, and a finger wag at FMC. Seriously, as pointless and generally ignored as they are, they are kind of adorable. I usually wonder if it’s some boomer that thinks this is a chat room or some bubba in Appalachia who just got new 56k service in their little unincorporated hamlet.
