Any Canadians with Hybrid build dates?

Did you order yours from there? I went there early Nov because they had a maverick in the showroom. They wanted a $2,000 or $2,500 deposit vs other nearby dealers wanted $1,000. Also told me deposit was non refundable unless they could not deliver truck and said hybrid truck would arrive in May.

Ended up ordering from Markville Ford because it’s closer to home for me and their deposit was standard compared with the other dealers I contacted. Markville told me at time of ordering that it could take a year for truck to be delivered.

Yeah, ended up ordering after seeing the same Maverick in the showroom. I wasn't worried about the deposit since I am comfortable with the wait and very set on getting the Mav. My student loans will be paid off around summer, and I won't have to worry about a car payment at the same time if it ends up taking that long.

I was able to get it locked in for MSRP with no other crap dealer fees.

I’m not sure which is better, news of a build date or being in Mexico in February? Either way both sound fantastic to me.

I was finally hit today with the "heard a rumour we (the dealer) are only getting 4 mavericks for the rest of the year". Planting the disappointment seed.

I am an August order, so I am sitting at 6+ months since ordering. Looks like I will need to find a different solution for this summers motorcycle track season. Sigh.

I am an XLT Lux as well, you ordered two months after me. Looks like Canada has a weird allocation / ordering system as well. (I am not scheduled)

I think I'm just going to have to give up on my early November XLT Hybrid with Lux package (post SIBL being removed as an option). The more I think about it, and see the growing list of issues with this truck, the less I care if it ever comes. I just hope I can get my deposit back.

I have an August order too, i got my vin a few weeks ago. Mine was a hybrid.

I would hope you would get scheduled in the next 3-4 weeks.

this is not the case, however. Just got a message from my dealer their system is saying “risk this maverick won’t be a ‘22”.

This would be a December delivery, meaning 16 month wait…

So did any of your Canadian dealers get the same memo that's going around about potentially not getting a 2022 model despite ordering before the cut off? What's interesting is that my dealer was saying(when I asked in December though) that if I remove/add something from my order, it will nullify the order and I would need to create a new one (and go back of the line)....but I guess take with a grain of salt because it's the dealer saying this...

If you understand how allocations work and ask your dealer to cut the BS, and ask how many they are allocated for the year, you can figure out what order you are in their order bank. My dealer finally admitted they are getting just 4 for 2022, and that my August order didn't make the cut.

So I bought an incoming unit from a dealer 3 hours away to at least have something for this summer. I will figure out which one I am keeping, my original order or this new one when the time comes.

Just got the call that I finally have a VIN and build date! I had an end of Aug order date so it seems it's about 6 months waiting time (very similar to a lot of orders here).
