So you (we) receive a vehicle that depending on announcements might be a market year old? I don’t believe your bet is too far off. Perhaps I should cancel my order, get my deposit back and reorder in July 2022 LOL
I think if you order summer 2022 you will be waiting 6 months. Batteries will be the biggest hold up with hybrid orders. Its why every toyota is not a hybrid. Ford is selling gas as an upgrade so they can make volume and money not because its a real upgrade. Thats why hybrid not AWD or 4k tow, ford is steering people away. Buying time until the day battery production can keep up.

My guess is hybrid will be a 6 month wait to order for several years, unless you scoop up order cancelation or dealer order.

Yup, My gut says that they had no idea how popular the idea of a hybrid would be and with the ongoing supply constraints just adding to it will make for some very long waits. I ordered mine last June and supposedly it was built a month ago. So I'm thinking January.

My guy at the dealership is the manager of fleet and lease and I've known him for close to 30 years. I believe him when he says we know more from this forum than he does. He says Ford is on radio silence these days

Hey Guys! I ordered mine in early July, Hybrid XLT with Lux package and in Chilli Pepper red. I got a build date set for October 15 and then news came out about the EPA tests and delaying shipment until January. I contacted my sales rep (late October) about this and he said he had no clue about it (ordered at metro ford in Coquitlam). He did state the following:

"I've just spoken with our ordering manager and it shows that we expect your Maverick to be here in mid-November. However, there seems to be a problem with rail cars and lack of prompt transportation could delay the delivery date."

So based on this it seems there is more of a rail issue which is delaying shipping and not so much the EPA tests. Again I am not sure if this is truly accurate just what the sales rep emailed me. Hope this helps.

Long time listener, first time caller.

Ordered an XL hybrid from my dealership (Barrhaven Ford in Ottawa) back in July. Got a call this week from the manager saying they won't be getting any hybrids in until, he expects, April.

Just as well at this point, I figure. Don't need to worry about getting winters on, etc...

Oct 25 Hybrid, XLT, Lux. Heard nothing from dealer. My guess is by next June I'll have it. . . I'm very patient but the wait is harder then I thought. Lol. . The positive is my downpayment will be bigger.

I know some have been scheduled or even built for US customers, wondering if anyone has one coming their way? I know ive seen ecoboosts but no hybrids.

Thanks
I got an e-mail from Ford, Nov 24; in production for next 3 days; hybrid XLT; Dealer said I should see it in January; ordered it August 14 with $500.00 deposit.

Nice! When you say email from ford, do you mean ford canada or the dealership? Any other addons to your XLT? Which province/dealer by chance?

Does a deposit mean anything? When it comes to build dates? I’m sure there must be orders in with substantial deposits…..money is someone’s bank other than the owner

Dealer contacted me again this past week about my Hybrid order:

Your order is on hold until you advise me that you are ok with the following changes. Ford is not building the Mavericks with spray-in liners. If you are ok with that, we will contact the factory for you and proceed with the build.

Apparently instead of spray in it will be a drop in liner from the factory. He also called me on the phone saying the car was built but has no clue when its going to be delivered.

I thought that anyone with the spray in on their build would get the spray in, and anyone who ordered after the change would get drop in. Weird...
