UPDATE: got the truck back after two days in the dealer. The software took a few hours to install and they said it installs several new modules, including an update that addresses the ambient air temp sensor and the auto function of the AC and heater.

everything seems to be working fine. If you have a hybrid, go get this done. Your hybrid is affected, even if you haven’t noticed it since all the programming from the factory is the same. Service bulletin 22-2124.

Thanks. My dealer told me end of March for the update, but they still haven't called me...

This particular issue is becoming a bigger concern for me, especially since Ford does not seem to be acknowledging or addressing it. Lots of people experiencing this, lots of people guessing whats wrong and how to fix.

Maybe buying a 1st year model was not a good idea....

I'm another one I have given up I'm going to put it up for sale and take my big profit from carvana and wait until 2024 for the downsize Tacoma I put on 300,000 miles on each of my to Tacomas they never seen the dealer once.
