Another missing private offer - PLEASE HELP

I have a Jan 2022 Ecoboost order that was COVP approved with tracking #1079999 from Jan 17th 2022 that balanced out and wasn't obviously scheduled. I have ordered a new 2023 when orders opened and the car arrived few days ago and of course when. The dealership tried to check in smart Vincent there is nothing showing up. The sale rep told me he called Ford from what I pointed in the video from @fordvideoguy and he claims Ford says I'm not eligible without any explanation! Customer support have no clue. What I found out that the address of the original order was misplaced with two letters instead of CH in the street name they put GN (Which you can understand if someone has lousy handwriting that can be mistaken) I don't know if that is the issue but no one can tell me. @Ford Motor Company please help, I have all the info needed tracking number of old and new COVP, pictures the dealership sent to Ford on email that yet to answered.

@Ford Motor Company @fordvideoguy please help! We are talking on 1750$ potential loss.

Good luck. My dealer got a Lease offer from Ford on my 2022 XLT hybrid build that rolled over to a 2023 build. I have not read it yet. His dealer rep is still trying to get ford to change it to the $23750 rebate offer. Best I can tell is that ford simply does not care about the buyer.

My dealer wasn't able to find mine, said we'd worry about it when it arrived. (I don't think they were being shady, it was just slammed busy when I stopped in)

Anyhow, I called customer support and talked to a representative that took the time and helped me out.

They tried the normal searches and didn't turn up anything. They were able to look up the COVP on my original 22 order and locate it that way.

What he found was that the dealership forgot to change the zip code when plugging in my address, so it was showing me as living in a different town.

He got me the address they used on the off chance I need it, my certificate number, and program number.

Hopefully yours was properly COVP'd and they can use that lookup tool to do the same for you.

They need to call their Sales and Inventory Specialist to get the offer certificate number. All they will need is that COVP tracking number.

Thanks Tim, that is exactly what I told them and finally after one week the sale person is going to call her/him....

We are in same boat, with a private offer not showing up in SmartVincent.. Likely cause is inconsistent spelling of our last name. (It’s a matter of whether there’s a space after the ”de” at the beginning, or not.)

Still waiting to resolve, but hampered by (1) our original veteran sales rep being out on disability leave, so dealing with a new rep and (2) apparently our dealership has a brand-new Ford Sales and Inventory Specialist.

We are still (pretty) hopeful this is going to be resolved before our truck arrives in a couple of weeks. New sales rep says his sales mgr. has emailed the Ford Inventory Specialist a couple of times, but that he is “swamped.”

We are certain our original MY2022 order was COVP’d, so it really shouldn’t be a problem getting the private order certificate number … once the Ford guy figures it all out.

We hope…

When we asked new sales guy what happens if this doesn’t get resolved before our truck arrives, he assured us that this wasn’t likely … but in any case, that they would “work something out.”

As long as we get our $1,750 off, we’ll be happy…

My story on "Private Offer." My dealer, who I work for, screwed up my offer, related to the 2022 order not being COVP approved. So after I reordered 2023 and it got scheduled for build, I had no private offer on my account. After my truck was built and shipped, it still didn't show up. At that point, 01/I6, I got with my sales manager to start working on my private offer with their inventory specialist. My 2023 truck was delivered last Saturday and I went to make the purchase Monday. I took the truck as a loaner that day, so I could drive it and just have it in my possession, while they worked on offer. I wanted it applied at time of purchase. Now I realized since I work at the dealer, my sales manager may have been more persistent working with Ford, but after a total of 11 days, they got Ford to assign a private offer to me! They applied the certificate number to my sale and as of yesterday, 01/26, the truck is mine and I did get the $1750.

I just wanted to point out that even if your order was not 2022 COVP approved, it is "possible" that your dealer can work with Ford and still get you the private offer, if they can show you actually had an 2022 order that did not get built and did a 2023 reorder. I do not know any of the inner workings of that process, I just know it can be done. I believe it will take a sales manager with experience of working with Ford on these types of issues (mine has over 20 yrs doing this) and willingness to take it on.

So latest update the dealer sales rep told me that "Ford said it can take up to 14 days to process the certificate". is that your experience also @fordvideoguy. how long did it take on your case when you contacted the S&I rep until certificate showed up in the system.

A couple days, we emailed yesterday on one and think it should get done today or tomorrow. Depends on how busy the S&I Specialist is at the time of submission.

Anyone else is waiting on Ford to come back with the certificate. My dealership said they have given everything needed and they are waiting for FORD rep. They said that ford looks to have a big backlog of these issues. Not sure why this should take more than few days!
