The certificate number I was given 2 months ago with my information, as of today, is now showing another persons information.
Events:
I called Ford marketing the beginning of December 2022 to verify my private offer was in the system. I have a cancelled 2022 Maverick order that was then switched to a 2023 by Ford on November 14th. I gave them my information and was given a certificate number for the $2750 transition private offer. The number included the sales code and order code like I have read it should include.
Yesterday my truck shipped! Yippee! So today I was listening to @fordvideoguy Facebook livestream and he mentioned some private offers disappearing. After I heard this I called Ford marketing and giving them the same information as 2 months ago they could not see a private offer for me. I then give them the certificate number I had been given and was told the information on is was not mine. They wouldn't give me the info which I understand. I then call my dealership and they are not sure what is happening that I do not have a private offer in my name and that the certificate is for someone else.
Has this happened to anyone else and know what is going on? Thanks.
