Another botched Transitional Private Offer 2022-->2023

I had an original order for an EB placed in January 2022. It wasn't built as a 2022 so it was rolled over as a 2023 on 9/19/23. I converted it to a hybrid and the sales code and order code stayed the same. My address/phone number/email/name hasn't changed. I'm picking it up tomorrow and....no private offer says the dealer. Called Ford marketing and....no private offer. Does the private offer for model year transition not apply if switching engines? I was under the impression I would get the $1750 offer since the original order was an EB. I talked to the dealer and gave them a suspected certificate number using Tim's hack. The dealer says if that doesn't work they'll have to submit a case with Ford that may take 3-4 months. What a mess. Has anyone come across this scenario? How about ya @Ford Motor Company ? It only took 18 months for it to come in

It's been so long I forgot all the details in that process, my 22 was delivered in oct 22 so i didn't have to go through the roll over to 23. Maybe reaching out to Tim the video guy might work, if anyone knows he would

Call ford Marketing to confirm certificate#. Ask them to look very carefully at ALL rebates listed in the system.

I got the private offer weeks after the sale but there was a certificate# the dealer just didn't see.

Your dealership should be able to reach out to their Ford Inventory Specialist (or similar title) to get this resolved.

My Dealer contacted Ford 4days before delivery. $2750 was deducted from my purchase price. 22 Lariat HB ordered 9/21 delivered 6/23

OP, I was in the same circumstances as you when I purchased my rollover 22 Eco --> 23 Hybrid order on Wednesday only my phone # and email had changed.

My salesman had no issues finding my private offer/rebate of $1750 by searching for offers with my last name, first initial in smart vincent. You should have a private offer, so I would follow advice earlier in the thread to bring Ford people into the discussion to resolve this for you.

If you had a 22 order that wasn't delivered AND it was converted properly into a 23, they offered a rebate ("private offer") to drop the 23 price back some to the 22 price.

You "can" get the rebate after the fact IF and ONLY IF you meet all the requirements and the private offer number was already there before purchase- the dealer and you would need to sign a statement that you qualify for the rebate and the dealer sends it in.

I paid full 23 price and got a check for the private offer about 3 weeks later. Dealer (Galpin Ford) could "see" my offer in the system but apparently it wouldn't populate to deduct in their system. They got squirrelly about Ford perhaps not paying...

Anyhoo. Paid in full and got the check a few weeks later.
