Unfortunately had to take possession of my Maverick XLT hybrid without the private offer in hand. My 18 month wait from original order culminated in a month of back and forth with the dealer while the truck shipped and then sat on the lot. Certificate number not showing up, multiple calls to Ford Marketing trying to link the transitioned order. Finally felt like I didn’t have a choice if I wanted to get the truck.

So I was surprised a few weeks later when a check arrived from Ford Motor Company directly for $2,750. Happy to get something, but the amount didn’t make sense based on the available information shared online about the transition offers.

I called Ford marketing - confirmed our certificate number was finally showing up.
They said their end showed 2 private offers associated with this certificate number.
The first offer was for $2,750 under program #32172.
The second offer was for $3,400 under program #32168.
My understanding is these programs can be combined. Or at the least I was expecting the larger amount based on our order of XLT hybrid originally and no changes to the model.

Of course the dealer is ghosting me. Ford marketing acts weird about it - indirectly confirming my suspicions that the dealer may be hiding something.

Not sure what is left for me to try here.

Love the truck. Hate the process.

What was the date of your original order? 18 months or so sounds like your FIRST order was for a MY23.

I went through all nature of fuckery with that offer on my '24 model in October 2023. My $$$ did show up in SmartVincent and my dealer did subtract most of it at the time of purchase. But they tried to screw me out of $600 of it.

At that time, the program $$$ went to the dealer and the dealer passed it on to the customer IF THEY WISHED. With all the shenanigans dealers pulled [including mine], it appears that now FoMoCo is sending the $$$ directly to the customer. Bravo FoMoCo for eliminating that public relations nightmare.

The matrix and the wording of the offer was a bit hard to understand, but you do not get both the $2750 and $3400. From what I recall, the confusion centered around an order placed in 2022 that rolled over to a 2023. That offer had one amount. If a 2022 order rolled over to a 2024, that had another amount due to the way FoMoCo shuffled around options, like in my case, making the Lux pkg standard on all 2024 Lariats.

Original order was a 2023 rolled over to 2024. XLT hybrid, no changes.
I expected $3,400, through the program #32168.
Order should not qualify for program #32172 (it is not a 2022 rollover), so I was surprised by the $2,750 amount and I'm being shorted $650.

Bigger picture: my order got approved for both programs (obviously in error), and I suspect the dealer is pocketing the 2nd offer amount ($3,400).
Even if they aren't I'm still missing part of the offer amount.
