Well, just receive my latest 45-day notice of they don't know what they're doing. So the third notice makes it about 180 days since order. Still priority 19 and working with the dealer to see if that could be decreased to a more manageable number. Getting ready to make some phone calls, probably to no avail..

So if dealer has all orders at priority 19 he should move all to priority 11? Leaving 10, of course for his mom-in-law!

Same here. I too, will query my dealer about my priority amongst other Maverick orders they have and what allocations they have left.

My experience with my 2021 order with Tamiami Ford was after waiting for almost a year it was delivered and then modified against my wishes.
They refused to remove these modifications and sold it to another for $7800 more. Then returned my deposit and payment.
I received the same notice for my 9/22 order from another dealer

If you do not know what they are set at, just curious why your 19 concerns you. If they are all set the same, then the number is irrelevant. If they are set at different numbers, why do you think yours should be lower? Not trying to argue, just trying to understand the situation.
Well, as far as I know, all dealers are not setting set at 19 and have the ability to improve it up to some limit (I think 11). Why can't they do this to all their Maverick orders to improve odds nationally their customers get built.

Got my Dear Maverick letter as well. Contacted dealer awhile back and they are clueless.
They said they receive the same info I get from Ford. I call Ford marketing regularluy and get nowhere!

Sounds like you have a valid reason for your order to be the highest priority they can make it. Where you changed dealers, you may have to show through your paperwork what happened at the other dealer.

Didn't we all know there would be a wait (long wait) to get a Maverick, if we even get one? It took 8 months to get my 2022, ordered a 2023 with not only a good chance of another long wait but a good chance of not even getting it.

From date of order doesn't matter. 120 days since the start of production. That's 1/3 through the MY run. Not all orders are built the first week. For the Maverick most of the initial builds are MY22 carryovers if dealers prioritized them correctly. So most orders are still waiting to be built. You might get 4 or 5 more before the last one is built.

That's not how priority codes work.

The priority code is only relevant at individual dealerships. That means orders with lower priority codes will be looked at first before orders with higher priority codes only in context of that particular dealership. But if constraints (Hybrid? Mud flaps?) prevent lower priority orders from being scheduled, then they'll look at higher numbered priority code orders. This is all assuming your dealership got any allocations.

So if your dealership scheduled everyone at priority code 19, then you're on equal footing with every other order at that dealership. Doesn't matter if another dealership coded everyone as priority code 10. It doesn't mean they will get scheduled before the other dealership.

The biggest factor to scheduling is your particular dealership's amount of allocations (or lack thereof).

Since I was not a carryover but a new order in September 2022 I was scheduled at 19 and as far as I know that never changed. I got scheduled, built, and shipped in about 6 months which is about what I figured. That put me in about the middle of the expected Ecoboost production.

You were lucky to get shipped in 6 months. My order is six months old today. Received two emails yesterday with the same I'm sorry verbage. That's 4 45 emails for me and not even scheduled yet. That means it will be at least nine or ten months to get a base XL ecoboost for me.
