AM Radio - how to get

Picked up my Shadow Black Hybrid Lariat with Lux. Was surprised to find there is no AM radio selection. i know, this is also why i am in the senior owner's club, so no smart aleck remarks

i do not see any threads on this matter. anyone know how or if it can be added?

On the pleasant surprise side i did get Michelin's in lieu of Continentals.

Thought Ford said they were going to leave the AM radio in the Ford vehicles including the Mavericks do to the federal government urging due to the fact of emergency broadcasting over the AM radio for emergencies and road conditions.

It's also possible that someone at the factory forgot to attach the AM antenna to the infotainment system.

Lariats come with Michelins not Continentals thank GOD!

Try pressing the talk key and say 'AM 560', substituting the 560 with a local station number in your area. Does that tune in a channel? - If so, just store it as a pre-set. (BTW the present list scrolls left/right, which isn't obvious at first look).

I have 23 Lariat Luxury, 360, 360+ (whatever,lol) and it has a functional AM radio.

Yeah I have a lariat and it has AM. On the steering wheel, click the dash menu, scroll and I select it from there

My 23 XL has AM. Coast to Coast keeps me up when I’m working nights.

My 2023 Hybrid XLT w/Lux has it. I would be irritated if Ford dropped AM radio, but they backpedaled on the plan for 2024, so it has to be on yours.

I also use iHeart and other streamers that offer AM stations. Always nice to listen to CKLW, WJR, WTAM when I need a quick feel for the areas I grew up.
