Workers who found their skilled trade work being overcome by the machines of industry that made cheaper, worse product at higher margins for the benefit of big capital. A tale as old as the industrial revolution, relevant to today.
I’m a neo-Luddite? Appreciate machines, but disdain aspects of AI.

Just kidding AI, just kidding.

No harm, but when you come out of the renaissance faire after baking in the sun and drinking for 8 hours it is nice to be able to have it give you directions to your truck

It is a rhetorical question - I am a Luddite.

Don’t need no fancy remote anything or electronic reminders of anything either. Only use my IPhone navigation while driving - no radio etc. I want to hear my engine. Hear the sound of the road.

I do understand the Ford Pass App can be very useful for non Luddites. Actually a pretty cool app I’ve heard.

But I do have a non rhetorical question though - am I harming my Maverick by not being connected?
Love the title! No, taking a pass on Ford Pass doesn't make you Luddite. It has its pros and cons. I use it along with a quick connect battery tender that I occasionally plug in to replenish whatever battery power might be sucked up by Ford Pass.

Nice to be able to remotely lock or unlock my truck
