No, that model doesn't have AM or FM, just CW.For the life of me, I could not figure out how to get either fm or am radio.
Carplay and Android Auto don't have an interface to control services provided by your vehicle, only services provided by your phone. Your vehicle provides the radio.I really don't understand why CarPlay and android auto don't have apps to control the radio.
It makes sense to me. Who would have interest in developing the radio apps to utilize the provided API besides the manufacturer? Why would the manufacturer develop two apps when they already provide you direct control over the radio without requiring a phone?yes, I understand that.
what is incomprehensible is the vehicle manufacture rs not exposing an API for this as part of their hosting these.
I absolutely understand not letting CarPlay near the transmission, but shielding the entertainment system (run from a different computer & bus) makes no sense.
Your a newbie, I bought a new 66 Mustang. And several clunkers before that.Thank you.
I couldn’t find how to get to the screen with source. Didn’t have any music I could play at the time.
I’m too old for all this fancy stuff. I purchased my first new car in 1976.
Being 75 i understand your situation.if you have any children or grandchildren ask one to help you with all this weird stuff.my daughter takes care of my computer related things and took care of my radio other type things.i tell sirri to play 50 and 60’s music and it plays.didn’t ask anyI have a loaded ‘25 EB XLT. Been using Apple carplay always. My wife borrowed my phone to use the shopping list on it while I sat in the truck. My Apple carplay went away as my phone went away. For the life of me, I could not figure out how to get either fm or am radio.
I opened the owners manual on the dash screen, read about using the radio, but the info was wrong. for example, the user manual showed to use the tuning knob, but my ride has no tuning knob. Could not figure out how to find and use the radio.
Help please.
Thank you.
Just press every button on the screen until you see "Source" Probably something in the lower left.Thank you.

The little house icon in the top left corner of the screen will get you to the screen to choose your sources.I have a loaded ‘25 EB XLT. Been using Apple carplay always. I'm recalling my call to cancel DirecTV.Why would the manufacturer develop two apps when they already provide you direct control over the radio without requiring a phone?
