They we're a problem. Had to cut down to L shape welded the cut piece on other side to make T shape. Cut that down until it slid in turn 90 degrees and there you go. Plus filling. And there TAC 4.5

Thanks for the reply. The Ionic nerf bar installation appears to be the same. Some Maverick owners have overcome the problem the bolts on the passenger side by simply shortening the offending bolts by a 1/4". I obtained a refund for my purchase and will reorder the same if a manufacturer resolves the problem.
Originally order a Hybrid XLT from Opelika Ford in Oct 2021.....I was less than impressed with their knowledge and communication. I tossed in a 2.0L XLT order from Long McArthur in Jan 2022 for good measure.
Neither truck was built as a MY22. Opelika Ford couldn't give me an answer about 2023 order banks opening up whenever I called or emailed, and they did not call me last week when they finally did. Long McArthur called me before I could call them about rolling my order over
I actually found a dealer stock 2.0L XLT AWD available in Cincinnati, and I'll be picking it up when it comes in (next week, hopefully!). I'll drive it until my hybrid comes in

Long-Lewis in Prattville. I inquired in late August and got put on a list. Morning of September 15, they finalized the details but couldn't put any in until the evening of the 16th. They told me to avoid the hybrid if possible due to the demand but would order whatever I wanted.
Straightforward process and I have no complaints. They were up front about the wait and locked in the price. Just tax and title.

Just joined the group. Ordered a XLT Hybrid in Atlas Blue from Long Lewis in the Shoals on Friday. The only extras I got were the hitch, floor mats and a bed mat. After hearing all the news about the number of hybrids wanted, I'm not holding my breath waiting for a build date.
So, my Long-Lewis said they did 112 orders on Friday. The question I have was that for just that one location or for all of them? 112 seems like a lot for a town the size I live in.

The young lady who helped us said they had over 300 on their reservation list and the internet salesman in Corinth location had 125. I am not be surprised that your dealer had that many.
Wow, okay. I guess I feel fortunate they pinged me first thing on the 15th to line up the order. But it also sounds like the eat through a lot of inventory to be able to justify those order numbers.

Yep, I tried dealing with Opelika Ford, they were pretty clueless about Maverick orders. The sales guy at Sons in Auburn knew what he was doing. Got mine submitted quickly.
Long Lewis in Prattville had a stock Bronco on their lot this morning. Roughly $30k. They are racking up F-150s and Explorers but most of the high-demand stuff have an additional "retail" sticker in the window letting you know it is already spoken for.
The one Lightning they have is a Lariat listed at $81k and has been sitting there for a couple months.
I've only ever seen on Maverick on their lot in the past year but they likely don't bother sitting the retail orders out for people to see.

New member here from the Birmingham area. Ordered a 2023 Hybrid Lariat in Atlas Blue on 9/16/2022 from Long-Lewis of Hoover. It's also got the lux package and both CP360 packages. From reading around on here it looks like I'll never actually get one but who knows? Along for the ride either way.
Yeah, I ordered one from these yahoos and another from a dealer in Philadelphia.
You have to watch Opelika Ford. They try to make you purchase add-ons with the vehicle.
Even after I said I didn't want any of that garbage.
The sales manager slid it in, but used a discount to deduct it.
I didn't notice it until I got home and installed the thumb drive they give you with the sales paperwork on it.
I didn't raise too much hell. Since it didn't cost me anything. But I don't like doing business with dealerships that are unethical.
They use tablets to complete the deals. This is how they slide stuff in. Tougher to spot scrolling thru a tablet than actual paperwork.
